As per the directives of the Abu Dhabi Government and the Department of Municipalities and Transport, Umm Al Emarat Park along with other Parks and beaches in the emirate reopened on Friday, July 3.
2. Will your operating hours and days change?
Umm Al Emarat is open daily from 8.00 AM until 12.00 AM with the last entry being at 11.00PM.
3. Will I be able to pay for my entrance fee using cash?

4. Has the entrance fee to the Park changed?

Yes, loyalty cards are still valid. You can purchase one of our two loyalty cards to receive more value for your money. 6. Are you expecting any other closures in the future?
We are not expecting any other closures for the time being. We will continue to follow the directives of the Abu Dhabi Government in this regard and will update our guests accordingly.
7. Will there still be public transportation and or taxis available to and from the Park?
Public transportation is available at the Park – you can either find a taxi directly in front of the Park’s main entrance or look for the nearby bus stop.
8. With the reduction of Parking spaces, will there still be sufficient Parking spaces for People of Determination?
Yes. The existing Parking spots for People of Determination are not going to be affected by the reduction of Parking spaces.
9. Will the new Park entry and exit points be accessible for wheelchair users?
Yes, they will be.
10. If I see another guest not complying with the health and safety guidelines, who do I report this to?
To safeguard the health and safety of our guests and staff, we have security monitoring all areas of the Park. Masks will be required in all common areas and can only be removed in specially designated areas/rings that have been clearly marked and that have different capacity requirements. If you see someone who is not complying with the health and safety guidelines, please do not approach them and instead report this to the nearest security personnel at the Park.
11. Are children allowed in the Park?
Yes, the Park is open to guests of all ages.
12. Are my pets allowed in the Park?
Animals and pets aren’t allowed inside the Park with the exception of assistance dogs.
13. I have a medical issue that prohibits me from wearing a mask? Can I still enter the Park if I maintain social distancing?
For the health and safety of our guests and staff, all visitors will be mandated to wear masks at all times when they are within the common areas.
14. I accidentally damaged my masks and/or gloves while in the Park? Can the Park provide me with substitutes?
Yes, masks and gloves are available. Just head towards the nearest Park Ranger and they can assist you.
15. If I am queuing with my children or other dependents or family members, does each member of my family have to maintain a distance of 2 metres?
Yes, a distance of 2 meters should be observed at all times.
16. Do my kids need to wear masks and gloves in order to be permitted into the Park?
Masks are required for all kids above 2 years old.
17. For those that are visually impaired, will there be support provided in order to adhere to social distance markers, circulation routes and other visual signs at the Park?
Yes, Umm Al Emarat Park Rangers and Security will provide support.
18. Can different families or individuals occupy the same designated ring in the Park as long as they don’t exceed the capacity for that area?
Yes, however with a maximum capacity of 4 individuals at any given time.
19. One of your sanitation stations does not have any more sanitation gel. Who do I report this to?
Please inform any of the Park team members and they will have it refilled.
20. What F&B outlets will be open at the Park?
The wide variety of F&B outlets at Umm Al Emarat Park will still be available for guests to enjoy, ranging from dine-in restaurants and cafés, as well as grab-and-go eateries such as Mövenpick Ice Cream, Green for Life, Mira’s Creamery, Parkers, Home Bakery, Sugar Art, Island Coco, and SALT.
21. Can I bring food/drinks from outside as I do not feel comfortable accessing your F&B outlets?

22. Will F&B outlets be sanitised on a daily basis?
All food and beverage outlets at Umm Al Emarat Park will conform to the most current guidance and regulations set by the Abu Dhabi Government.
23. Do kitchen and service staff at F&B outlets get tested, and how often?
All staff at Umm Al Emarat Park were tested prior to the reopening and will be regularly tested to ensure the safety of our staff and guests. In addition to this, all staff will be provided with personal protective equipment such as masks, gloves and visors.
24. Will there be regular cutlery provided at F&B outlets, if that is my preference? If not, can I bring my own cutlery?
Yes there will be regular cutlery provided at the F&B outlets of the Park. You may also bring your own cutlery if you prefer.
25. I would prefer to sanitise my own table at your food and beverage outlets, will this be possible?
All tables at food and beverage outlets at Umm Al Emarat Park will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitised after each use. Sanitising your table with your own products will depend on each food and beverage outlet.
26. Do I have to wear a mask and/or gloves when I am seated at my table?
Based on the DED regulations mask and/or gloves are no longer required while seated on a table inside the F&B outlet.
27. Will non-reusable cutlery at your F&B outlets be recycled?
That will depend on the F&B outlet recycle policy.
28. Are animal rides and face painting available?
All facilities at the park are currently open to all visitors. All activities will resume as of October 1st except for face painting.
29. Will prayer rooms still be accessible and what are the sanitisation procedures for these areas?
Yes. However, in the interest of your health and safety, we ask that you kindly adhere to the below guidelines while using the prayer room:

The entrance fee to the Park is now AED10 per person for all Park’s visitors. Proceeds from the ticket prices will go towards the furthering the Park’ vision, expanding its offerings, and enriching its calendar of activities, all with a view to enhance the overall visitor experience. For commercial filming and photography inside the Park, we require that entities obtain prior approval from the Park management. We also ask you to kindly to keep in mind that photographing and/or video recording (for personal purposes) of other visitors without their knowledge and permission is a legal offence.
