Umm Al Emarat Park Goes Pink in Support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The entire park will be lit up in pink lights for the entire month of October

In collaboration with NMC Royal Women’s Hospital, Pink Caravan, Peak Fitness and Life Diagnostics the park will be raising awareness and offering a range of free wellness packages and screenings for park visitors

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer. To support this year’s efforts, Umm Al Emarat Park is turning pink to help highlight the significance of breast cancer awareness, education, and research. Throughout the whole month of #PINKtober, the park will be lit up with pink lights in recognition of the cause.

Also, during the month, the park will be hosting Pink Caravan on 18th October from 4pm-8pm as they conduct free screenings and awareness talks for all visitors, and on October 21st from 4pm- 8pm, Peak Fitness and Life Diagnostics activation will be taking place where park visitors will be offered a discounted wellness package from Life Diagnostics and a free training session that will be conducted by Peak Fitness for female park goers. Furthermore, NMC Royal Women’s Hospital on 28th October from 4pm-8pm will have free health educators on the ground in addition to discounted mammogram vouchers, gifts and more.
