Weekend guide at Umm Al Emarat Park

Abu Dhabi, October 27th, 2023: At the new season of the Park Market at Abu Dhabi’s favorite green destination Umm Al Emarat Park, guests can look forward to an array of activities catered to all park visitors every weekend until March 30th, 2024.

Park Market 
Take a stroll around Umm Al Emarat Park’s Promenade and discover the Park Market, which hosts over 40 unique vendors offering a wide range of local food, handmade goods, activities and performances.

Cinema in the Park
“Cinema in the Park” is a favorite, as guests have the chance to experience an outdoor movie theatre like no other. This weekend, guests can look forward to the animated adventure “Rio” on Friday, October 27th at 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, followed by “Zootropolis” screening on Saturday, October 28th at 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM. 

“Pink October” in collaboration with Medeor Hospital
As part of the Park’s ongoing “Pink October” initiatives, and in support of those affected, Umm Al Emarat Park continues to light up in pink in recognition of the cause. Join Medeor Hospital for a revitalizing jog through the Park this Friday October 27th from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. On Saturday October 28th from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, park-goers can come together for a restorative yoga session focusing on breathing exercises and meditation to improve overall health. 

Throughout both days, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, pass by the Promenade for a comprehensive health check-up, coupled with complimentary vouchers.

Korea Festival 
Additionally, Umm Al Emarat Park is hosting a cultural weekend in partnership with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Korean Cultural Center, under the theme of “Sustainability Culture: Flowing into the Future.” Taking place on October 27th and 28th, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, this event will highlight various aspects of Korean culture and traditions.

The event will host a series of cultural shows and activities featuring Pansori, Minyo and K-Pop.
At the K-Culture Pavilion, guests can explore a diverse array of Korean brands and cultural experiences. 

JIU-JITSU Tournament 
In collaboration with Palm Sports, talented Jiu-Jitsu women will display their combat skills on October 27th at 4:30 PM to raise awareness for breast cancer. Guests can also look forward to a Jiu-Jitsu women’s class and a community workshop on October 28th at 4:00 PM.
