‘Mailsna’ Festival at Umm Al Emarat Park

Umm Al Emarat Park will host the “Mailsna” Festival, organised by the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, from 30 to 31 January 2026, daily from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

The festival features a diverse programme of activities and events aligned with the UAE’s Year of the Family. It aims to strengthen family bonds and offer enjoyable experiences for families of all ages, while fostering Emirati customs, values, and heritage among future generations.

The two-day programme includes a range of activities, such as:

  • Junior Masterclass: Introductory workshops on the history of the UAE with the Dhow Captain, introducing participants to pearl diving and its tools, alongside sessions on Arabic coffee-making and learning about different types of falcons.
  • Guardians of Heritage: Workshops led by mothers to teach girls cooking skills, traditional crafts, and heritage bread-making techniques.
  • Artificial Intelligence: Fun and interactive activities and games using artificial intelligence technologies.
  • Our Future Ambassadors: Showcasing inspiring role models of talented children across diverse fields, from environmental initiatives to robotics and artificial intelligence.
  • Health Activities: Awareness programmes focused on highlighting health risks and promoting ways to prevent and overcome them.
  • Join us, Read and Learn: Interactive storytelling sessions introducing a group of creative young writers, with the opportunity to receive their autographs.
